A laborer, Shubham Rana, died under suspicious circumstances in Raipur's Rama World Colony. The body was found near a construction site. Police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter, examining CCTV footage and questioning his colleagues.
Chhattisgarh: The body of Shubham Rana, a laborer, was discovered on Tuesday morning in the Swarnabhoomi area of Rama World Colony, Raipur. The deceased was a resident of Deoghar, Jharkhand, and worked as a carpenter in Raipur. He was living near the construction site with other laborers he worked with.
According to information, Shubham left his room around 11 PM last night. When his fellow laborers searched for him the next day, his body was found near the nearby construction site. The fellow laborers were frightened and immediately informed the police.
Marks of Injury on Foot
Vidhan Sabha police station inspected the scene and sent the body for a post-mortem. Preliminary investigation suggests that the youth's death may have been due to an accident. Marks of injury were found on the body and foot.
However, police clarified that the actual cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem report is received. All aspects are being considered during the investigation.
Questioning of Fellow Laborers
Police have begun reviewing footage from CCTV cameras installed in the area. Simultaneously, they are questioning the laborers who worked with Shubham. Police are investigating every possibility, considering whether this was an accident or a case of murder.
Relatives from Jharkhand arrived in Raipur. They requested the police to conduct a fair investigation and reach a conclusion quickly. The family stated that Shubham had no disputes with anyone and this sudden death is incomprehensible to them.
