Rajasthan Police has released a new list of 25 most wanted criminals active in the state. The list includes the names of criminals wanted in serious cases such as murder, robbery, dacoity, and extortion. Additional Director General of Police (Crime) Dinesh MN released the list on Thursday, July 17, which also includes the names of several notorious criminals from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. This time, 12 new criminals have been added to the list. The police have stated that arresting them is their top priority and have intensified the campaign against them.
Rohit Godara's Name is at the Top
The name at the top of the released list is that of Rohit Godara, an active member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He has 20 cases registered against him for murder and robbery. The Rajasthan Police has announced a reward of ₹1 lakh on him, and the NIA (National Investigation Agency) has announced ₹5 lakh.
In addition, Mahendra alias Sameer Meghwal is wanted in 25 criminal cases, due to which the NIA has announced a reward of ₹5 lakh and the state police has announced ₹2 lakh. The list also includes names like Virendra Singh Charan, Satwinder alias Goldy Brar, Anmol alias Bhanu, Shyam Sunder alias Sanwariya, Sunil Kalu Meena, and Anil Pandya, who have rewards ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹5 lakh announced on them.
Other notable names on the list include Mahesh Harijan, Amarjeet Bishnoi, Subhash Mund alias Subhash Baral, and Ajay Singh alias Ajju Banna.
These Criminals are Involved in Serious Crimes
All the criminals included in the list have been involved in serious crimes such as murder, attempted murder, robbery, dacoity, illegal arms smuggling, NDPS Act violations, and theft. Many of these criminals are part of an inter-state network and, according to the police, pose a direct threat to society. Instructions have been given to the Police Commissioners of Jaipur and Jodhpur, all Range IGs, District SPs, DCPs, GRP, ATS, and SOG to coordinate and take swift action to apprehend them.

ADG Dinesh MN of the Crime Branch said that the arrest of these 25 criminals is the top priority of the Rajasthan Police. He said that all police units are working in coordination to ensure that no accused escapes the clutches of the police. He also appealed to the general public to provide information about any suspicious person or activity to the police without hesitation, so that timely action can be taken and the criminals can be brought to justice.
