Rajnath Singh: Logistics, Not Just Weapons, Key to Victory in Modern Warfare

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh credits b logistics for the success of Operation Sindoor, stating that wars are won not by weapons, but by the timely supply of essential goods.

Operation Sindoor: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has attributed the success of Operation Sindoor primarily to robust logistics. He explicitly stated that the outcome of modern warfare is not solely determined by the strength of weaponry, but by the ability to deliver them to the right place at the right time. He made this statement virtually at the convocation ceremony of Gati Shakti University.

Logistics, Not Weapons, Determine the Outcome of War

In his address, Rajnath Singh said that Operation Sindoor is proof that military strength alone is not decisive. In this operation conducted on terrorist bases located in Pakistan, necessary military materials and support were provided on time. This was the real reason for the success of this operation. He emphasized that wars are now won not just by bullets and guns, but by the strategy of getting them there on time.

The Role of Logistics for the Army, Navy, and Air Force

The Defense Minister also highlighted the importance of the logistics systems of the three wings of the military. He explained that for the Army, transporting weapons, fuel, rations, and medicines to remote areas is an essential part of logistics. For the Navy, it involves delivering essential parts and technical equipment to ships.

Meanwhile, the Air Force needs to ensure a continuous supply of technical support and fuel from the ground. Any delay in any part affects the military operation.

Modern Technology is Useless Without Timely Supply

Giving an example, Rajnath Singh said that even if we have a modern missile system, that technology becomes useless if its essential electronic parts do not arrive on time. Therefore, India must make its logistics chain state-of-the-art and efficient. This is the real basis of any country's military and strategic power.

PM Gati Shakti Yojana Will Strengthen Logistics

The Defense Minister described the Prime Minister's Gati Shakti Yojana as the backbone of the logistics system. He said that this scheme is connecting the country's four major transport routes — road, rail, water and air — with each other. Its objective is to create an integrated infrastructure so that the movement of goods and resources becomes faster and easier. This scheme will not only improve civil infrastructure, but will also strengthen the country's defense system.

Only Strong Logistics Will Make the Country Safe and Capable

Giving a message to the youth, Rajnath Singh said that the country that keeps its logistics chain b becomes the most secure, stable and capable. He motivated the students to prepare to contribute to areas like logistics and supply chain management for the future. The country's security now depends not only on the borders, but also on the efficiency of systems and management.
