Market Cap: Last week, the stock market witnessed b growth, with Reliance Industries and Bharti Airtel emerging as the biggest beneficiaries among the top-10 companies. Overall, the combined market capitalization of these seven companies increased by ₹1,28,281.52 crore. During the same period, the BSE benchmark index closed 669.14 points, or 0.79%, higher.

Reliance and Airtel Shares Soar

This week, Reliance and Airtel were the biggest beneficiaries. Reliance's market value surged by ₹36,673 crore to ₹20,92,052.61 crore, while Bharti Airtel's market cap increased by ₹36,579.01 crore to reach ₹12,33,279.85 crore. The b performance of these companies maintained a positive sentiment in the market.

Performance of Other Companies

Besides Reliance and Airtel, HDFC Bank, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), State Bank of India, Infosys, and Hindustan Unilever also recorded an increase in their market values. Infosys's market cap grew by ₹17,490.03 crore to ₹6,41,688.83 crore. TCS's market value rose by ₹16,299.49 crore to reach ₹11,39,715.66 crore. HDFC Bank's market cap increased by ₹14,608.22 crore to ₹15,35,132.56 crore, while State Bank of India's market value climbed by ₹4,846.08 crore to ₹8,97,769.87 crore. Consumer goods company Hindustan Unilever's market cap reached ₹5,71,972.75 crore, up by ₹1,785.69 crore.

Decline in Companies' Valuations

However, some companies also saw a decline in their market values. Bajaj Finance's market cap fell by ₹8,244.79 crore to ₹6,25,328.59 crore. LIC's market value decreased by ₹4,522.38 crore to ₹5,70,578.04 crore, and ICICI Bank's market cap dropped by ₹1,248.08 crore to ₹9,79,126.35 crore.

India's Most Valuable Companies

Reliance Industries continues to be India's most valuable company. It is followed by HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, TCS, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Hindustan Unilever, and LIC. This ranking indicates to investors which companies have shown b performance and which have experienced fluctuations.
