The project's scale is so immense that it will involve steel equivalent to 100 Eiffel Towers and a built-up area four times larger than a Tesla Gigafactory. Over 50,000 workers are engaged in its construction. The smart gigafactories being built here will provide renewable energy 24 hours a day and produce green technologies such as green ammonia, e-methanol, and sustainable aviation fuel.
The Unprecedented Scale of the Gigafactory
The size and construction aspects of this complex make it nothing short of a marvel. A built-up area of 44 million square feet is being constructed here, which will be approximately four times larger than Tesla's Gigafactory. So far, 3.4 million cubic meters of concrete are being used in its construction. Additionally, 700,000 tons of steel will be utilized, which is equivalent to about 100 Eiffel Towers. Furthermore, 100,000 kilometers of cable will be laid, a length sufficient to travel to the moon and back.
