Security Forces Uncover Naxal Gun Factory and Weapon Cache in Bihar Forest

A large cache of weapons and parts belonging to Naxals was recovered in a joint operation by the SSB, STF, and police in the Lakrahai forest of Aurangabad. The operation revealed that Naxals were operating a gun factory in the forest.

Aurangabad: Security forces have busted the secret activities of Naxals in the Lakrahai forest of the Nabinagar block in Aurangabad, Bihar. In a joint operation by the SSB, STF, and Tandwa police station, a large cache of weapons and their parts, hidden underground, was recovered. This discovery is proof that Naxals were manufacturing weapons in the forests and concealing them under the guise of security.

The recovered weapons and parts include country-made carbines, live cartridges, pistol cartridges, rifle springs, and butts, along with several objectionable items. This clearly indicates that the Naxals were planning to strengthen their organization and execute a major incident.

Major Success in Search Operation

Based on intelligence input, the SSB, STF, and Tandwa police station launched a search operation in the Lakrahai forest. During the operation, a cache of weapons hidden underground in the forest was recovered. Security forces declared the recovery a significant achievement against the Naxals.

The recovered items included a 9mm country-made carbine, 315 bore live cartridges, pistol cartridges, rifle springs, butts, and four ammunition pouches. Additionally, weapon cleaning materials and other objectionable items were also found. This success has boosted the morale of the security forces and strengthened their action against the Naxals.

Naxals Were Secretly Manufacturing Weapons in Forests

The recovery of weapons and parts clearly indicates that the Naxals were operating a mini gun factory in the forests. Semi-finished weapons were hidden underground to avoid detection during any raids. This is a sign of a serious threat, suggesting that Naxals are attempting to re-strengthen their organization.

Security forces stated that such activities clearly indicate that Naxals were planning to increase their strength and spread terror in the state. However, their efforts are proving to be futile due to the ongoing anti-Naxal operations.

Naxals Not Apprehended

Despite the recovery, no Naxals were apprehended during the operation. Security forces conducted searches in the forest and surrounding areas, but the Naxals managed to escape and were not caught. Superintendent of Police Ambrish Rahul stated that despite the Naxals' activism, security forces remain vigilant, and operations against them will continue.

This operation by the security forces is proving effective in demoralizing the Naxals. Continuous anti-Naxal operations send a message that any secret activities by Naxals in the forests will be unsuccessful, and they will not get an opportunity to execute their plans in the state.

Vigilance of Security Forces

The operation involved Inspector Arvind Singh Jadeja of the SSB Kala Pahar team, SI Ashok Kumar Prajapati of the STF team, and SI Sanjay Kumar of the Tandwa police station, along with other personnel. Their coordination and vigilance were instrumental in achieving this recovery.

Security forces carefully brought the recovered weapons and parts to the police station. The Superintendent of Police stated that operations against Naxals will continue, and security forces will monitor all such activities. This will continue to foil Naxal plans and ensure law and order in the state.
