Sendhwa Robbery Solved: Mastermind Arrested, Hunt On for Two Hardened Criminals

Police have uncovered the robbery of three and a half lakh rupees from trader Prateek Agrawal in Sendhwa, Barwani. The mastermind, Deepesh alias Chintu, has been arrested, while the search for hardened criminals Manoj Sharma and Rahul is ongoing.

Barwani: Police have solved the robbery case of three and a half lakh rupees from a building material trader in Sendhwa, Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh. The mastermind in this sensational incident, Deepesh alias Chintu Jaiswal, has been arrested. Notably, the secret of this case was uncovered with the help of CCTV cameras installed under 'Operation Trinetram'. Police have seized cash, a motorcycle, and a car from the accused, while the search for the absconding hardened criminals is still ongoing.

Trader Robbed After Chemical Spray in Eyes

This incident occurred with trader Prateek Agrawal. It is reported that Prateek Agrawal was going towards Varla Road for his business. During this, assailants ambushed him, sprayed a chemical into his eyes, and snatched a bag containing three and a half lakh rupees. Due to this sudden attack, the trader was unable to react for a few moments, and the robbers fled after committing the crime.

Traders had expressed deep concern over this incident and demanded that the police administration strengthen security arrangements. Following the incident, business organizations in the city also expressed outrage and appealed for the swift apprehension of the criminals.

Involvement of Hardened Criminals

During the investigation, police discovered that notorious criminal Manoj Sharma and his associate Rahul were involved in this incident. Manoj Sharma already has 22 criminal cases registered against him and has been involved in the supply of illegal weapons. It is reported that Manoj was previously arrested with 42 illegal pistols.

Similarly, Rahul is also wanted in several cases. Police state that both of them had planned the crime and sought the help of mastermind Deepesh for it. Sendhwa police station in-charge B.S. Bisen confirmed that Deepesh also has more than five criminal cases registered against him.

Dangerous Robbery Duo Formed in Jail

Police investigation also revealed that Deepesh and Manoj Sharma became friends in Khargone Jail. They maintained contact from there and, after being released from jail, planned the robbery to fulfill their financial needs.

On the day of the incident, the criminals waited for the trader on Varla Road. As soon as Prateek Agrawal arrived, both sprayed his eyes and looted lakhs of rupees. Afterwards, they met Deepesh at Moradad Phata. From the looted money, 25,000 rupees and a motorcycle were given to Deepesh. In return, Deepesh took the responsibility of dropping Manoj and Rahul to Indore in his car.

Police Appeal and Traders' Demand for Security

Sendhwa police have arrested the accused Deepesh and taken him on remand. He is now being interrogated to gather information about the whereabouts of the absconding accused, Manoj and Rahul. Police hope that these hardened criminals will also be apprehended soon.

Meanwhile, following the incident, trader organizations have urged the police to further strengthen security arrangements. Traders have emphasized the need for a permanent police outpost and regular patrolling in the Varla Road Industrial Area. At the same time, the police have appealed to traders to avoid shortcut routes and to change their routes periodically so that criminals cannot ascertain their daily routine.

Disclosure through CCTV Footage

The most crucial aspect was that the entire case was uncovered under 'Operation Trinetram'. The activities of the accused were captured by CCTV cameras installed through a partnership between traders and the police. Based on these footages, police received clues and successfully reached the mastermind, Deepesh.

Police state that if it weren't for the cooperation of trader organizations and the help of CCTV cameras, it would have been difficult to solve the robbery case so quickly. Currently, the search for the absconding accused has been intensified, and police expect all members of this gang to be brought to justice soon.
