Sennheiser has launched the Momentum 5 Wireless and Momentum True Wireless 5 in India as part of its flagship wireless audio range. The Momentum 5 Wireless over-ear headphones and Momentum True Wireless 5 earbuds feature Hybrid Adaptive ANC, Dolby Atmos and replaceable batteries. Pre-orders for both devices have started, while regular sales will begin on October 1.
The Momentum 5 Wireless is priced at ₹39,990, while the Momentum True Wireless 5 is priced at ₹29,990. Both models can be pre-ordered through Sennheiser’s official website, online platforms and offline retail stores. Regular sales will begin on October 1.
Customers who pre-order may receive the Sennheiser BTD 600 Bluetooth USB dongle, priced at ₹5,990, free under additional offers available on the respective platforms.
Both models are available in Denim and Lavender colour options. The Momentum 5 Wireless is also available in a Black finish, while White and Bronze variants will be introduced later. The Momentum True Wireless 5 is also available in Graphite and Cream shades.
The Momentum 5 Wireless comes with 42mm dynamic drivers and supports Hi-Res Audio, Snapdragon Sound, aptX Lossless and Dolby Atmos with head tracking. The headphones feature an eight-microphone Hybrid Adaptive ANC system. According to the company, the system reduces midrange noise three times more than the Momentum 4.
For calls, the headphones have four microphones on each side. Beamforming and noise-reduction technologies are designed to support voice clarity. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4, along with support for SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Lossless and aptX Adaptive codecs.
The headphones are equipped with a 700mAh replaceable Lithium-ion battery. According to the company, they offer up to 57 hours of playback with ANC enabled. A 10-minute charge is claimed to provide up to 7 hours of playback. The headphones also feature user-replaceable ear pads.
The Momentum True Wireless 5 features 7mm TrueResponse dynamic drivers and supports 24-bit/96kHz audio through aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless. It also supports Dolby Atmos for head-tracked Spatial Audio and Hybrid Adaptive ANC that adjusts according to surrounding noise.
The earbuds have four microphones each, including bone-conduction microphones. AI-powered Speech Extraction and Beamforming help reduce background noise during calls. The earbuds support Bluetooth 6.0 and Multipoint connectivity.
According to the company, the earbuds can provide up to 12 hours of playback with ANC turned off and up to 6 hours with ANC enabled. With the charging case, total playback time reaches up to 40 hours. Both the earbuds and the case have replaceable Lithium-ion batteries. The case supports USB-C and Qi Wireless Charging.
The Momentum True Wireless 5 weighs 7 grams per earbud and features a fin-free, aerodynamic design. The earbuds have an IP54 rating. The box includes XS, S, M and L-sized silicone ear adapters along with a battery replacement tool.
