The demonstration involved accusations of obstructing government work, vandalism, and misbehavior with officials. The police registered a case against Sudhakar Singh in this incident. At that time, this area came under Azamgarh district. Later, when Mau was declared a separate district, the case file was transferred to the Mau court.

MLA had already been granted bail

Sudhakar Singh had already been granted bail in this case. According to advocate Virendra Bahadur Pal, Sudhakar Singh has been appearing in court in this case. In 1989, the case came to the Mau court, and the hearing has been ongoing since then.
