Examination Details
All questions in the Tier-1 examination will be Objective Type, meaning Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The paper will be conducted in online mode. This examination is of a qualifying nature, solely for the purpose of shortlisting candidates for the next stage.

Selection Process
The selection process for SSC CGL 2025 will comprise three stages.
- Tier 1 Examination – This will be of a qualifying nature.
- Tier 2 Examination – This will be the main examination, and candidates will be selected based on their performance in it.
- Document Verification – Finally, selected candidates will be called for document verification.
