A tragic accident has been reported near Dakshin Gaon in Sultanpur district. Four young men were traveling when their vehicle plunged into a canal. Local residents and rescue teams collaboratively pulled out three of the young men.

Mitrasen Yadav (35 years old) was taken to Baldirai Medical Center, where he was declared dead.
Two other young men are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital in serious condition.
The fourth young man, Pappu, is still missing, and the search operation is ongoing.
Following the incident, local residents blocked the Haliyapur-Kurebhar Road, expressing their anguish and chanting slogans. The search is continuing with the help of police teams, divers, and the SDRF (State Disaster Response Force).

The incident occurred at night. Four individuals were returning after partaking in Prasad (religious offerings).
As the vehicle approached the canal bridge, the driver attempted to move onto the roadside shoulder, but the vehicle lost control and plunged into the canal.
Villagers, passersby, and local residents collectively initiated rescue efforts.
Three individuals were pulled out. Among them, Mitrasen Yadav was in critical condition and was rushed to CHC Baldirai, where doctors declared him dead.
The fourth young man, Pappu Yadav (son of Sukhram), is still missing. Police and local residents are actively engaged in his search. Following the incident, villagers blocked the Baldirai-Haliyapur / Dakshin Gaon Road, expressing their anger.
