TCS declares ₹57 per share dividend after Q3 FY26 results

Tata Consultancy Services has declared a dividend of ₹57 per share for its shareholders following the announcement of its Q3 FY26 results. The total payout comprises an interim dividend of ₹11 per share and a special dividend of ₹46 per share. The company’s equity shares carry a face value of ₹1 each, translating the declared dividend into a payout equivalent to 5,700 percent of face value.

The company has fixed January 17 as the record date to determine shareholder eligibility for the dividend. The payment date has been set for February 3. Shareholders whose names appear on the company’s register as of the record date will be eligible to receive the dividend.

For the third quarter of FY26, Tata Consultancy Services reported a decline in net profit on a year-on-year basis. Net profit for the October–December quarter stood at ₹10,657 crore, down about 14 percent from ₹12,380 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Net profit in the preceding quarter was ₹12,075 crore.

Revenue from operations during Q3 FY26 increased to ₹67,087 crore, compared with ₹63,973 crore in the same quarter a year earlier, reflecting growth of about 5 percent year on year.

Following the announcement of the Q3 FY26 results, shares of Tata Consultancy Services closed at ₹3,235.70 on the BSE, up 0.86 percent for the session. The company’s market capitalisation stands at approximately ₹11,70,704.58 crore. Over the past one month, the stock has gained 0.48 percent.

On a longer-term basis, the stock has delivered returns of 8.40 percent over one year, 15.58 percent over two years, and 69.39 percent over five years. Over a ten-year period, the share price has risen by about 239.83 percent. The stock’s 52-week high is ₹4,321.65, while the 52-week low is ₹2,867.55.
