The women who died in the accident were from Bidar district in Karnataka and travelled to Zaheerabad daily for employment. According to local information, they worked as daily-wage labourers and supported their families through their earnings.

Another serious road accident occurred the same night in the Zaheerabad area of Sangareddy district. The accident took place on National Highway-65 in the Kaveli area of Kohir mandal.
According to police, a car was allegedly being driven at high speed and negligently when it hit the divider in the middle of the road. After the collision, the car moved into the opposite direction and crashed into vehicles approaching from the other side.
Two people were killed and several others were injured in the accident. At least four vehicles were damaged.
After the car hit the divider and collided with vehicles coming from the opposite direction, several vehicles were damaged. Police and local residents reached the scene after receiving information about the accident.
The injured were taken to hospitals for treatment. Police inspected the accident site and began removing the damaged vehicles and restoring traffic movement. Traffic on the national highway was also affected for some time.
Police are investigating both accidents. The investigations are examining the speed of the vehicles, road conditions, possible driver negligence and the circumstances preceding the crashes. Police are also seeking to determine whether any traffic-rule violation or other technical factor was involved.
The injured from the Satwar accident were admitted to different hospitals, with several reported to be in serious condition. Police and the administration also began the process of identifying the deceased and informing their families.
