The tournament will kick off with the first match between London Spirit and Oval Invincibles at the prestigious Lord's Cricket Ground in London. Tournament Format and Popularity
The Hundred is a unique format tournament where each team gets to play 100 balls. The tournament was initiated by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to make cricket even more exciting and fast-paced. Its popularity is increasing year after year. Oval Invincibles won The Hundred 2024 title.
In the final, they defeated Southern Brave to win the trophy. Oval Invincibles have won the tournament twice so far and are considered b contenders for the title this season as well.
