A long time ago, there was a dense and lush forest. It was inhabited by various animals – lions, elephants, rabbits, foxes, monkeys, peacocks, and many birds. Everyone in the forest was busy with their own work, but there was a problem – there was no unity among the animals. No one helped anyone, and everyone thought only of their own benefit.
One day, a new hunter arrived in the forest. He was cunning and trapped some animal or the other in his net every day. At first, everyone thought it would only be a matter of days, but as the danger increased, the animals realized that they had to do something.
The Alarm Bell
The hunter used to trap animals every day by laying nets in the forest. The animals were scared, but no one could do anything. One day, the lion's wife also got caught in the net. The lion was very angry, but he was alone and could not do anything. Meanwhile, the elephant's baby also disappeared. Now all the animals began to feel afraid. They began to understand that if they did not unite, the hunter would catch them one by one and the forest would become desolate.
Organizing a Meeting
The rabbit, who was very intelligent, called all the animals one day and said, 'We must now fight together. We have to teach the hunter a lesson.' At first, some animals refused because they were afraid. But when big animals like the lion and the elephant supported it, everyone got ready. They made a plan together. Everyone was assigned their own work – some would keep watch, some would help cut the nets, and some would distract the hunter.
Beginning of the Plan
The hunter laid a trap again the next day, but this time the animals had made a plan together. The monkey was watching from the trees, the fox was following the hunter, and the elephant was making loud noises to distract him. Meanwhile, the rabbit and his friends quietly arrived and started cutting the net. Soon all the trapped animals were freed. This was all possible because of teamwork and unity, due to which the hunter had to return empty-handed.
Teaching the Hunter a Lesson
The hunter came to the forest with his net as usual, but this time the situation was different. All the animals were monitoring him together. As soon as the hunter spread the net, the lion and the elephant came in front of him and roared loudly. Seeing this, the hunter got very scared. He understood that now the animals of the forest were not afraid, but fought together. He immediately picked up his belongings and ran away from there and never returned. In this way, the unity of the animals freed the forest from the hunter.
An Atmosphere of Happiness in the Forest
Everything had changed in the forest now. The animals had understood that no one is safe alone, but together they can face any danger. Now whenever there was a problem, all the animals would find a solution together. If someone fell ill, others would take care of them. If someone got lost, they would search for them together. Now trust and friendship had taken the place of fear in the forest. Everyone lived together and happiness returned to the forest again.
Even a Small Contribution is Big
Every animal, whether small or big, definitely has some specialty. The rabbit may not have been b, but his intelligence and courage united everyone and saved them from the hunter. From this, we learn that when we face any difficulty together, no problem is too big. Even small efforts can bring about a very big change together.
