Trump Issues Iran Ultimatum Amidst Middle East Conflict

Amidst the War in the Middle East, Trump Signals a Final Chance for Iran. The United States wants Iran to halt uranium enrichment. While ceasefire efforts continue, the conflict is also escalating.

Trump-Iran: The ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran in the Middle East has reshaped international politics. Amidst this crisis, former US President Donald Trump has clarified that he has returned not to broker a ceasefire, but to pursue something "bigger." The Trump administration is preparing to give Iran a final chance, but this will be entirely on America's terms—specifically, the complete cessation of uranium enrichment. Meanwhile, there is significant internal disagreement within the US administration regarding the extent of American involvement in this conflict.

Trump's Entry Amidst the Israel-Iran War

Amidst the rapidly deteriorating situation in the Middle East, former US President Donald Trump decided to cut short the G7 summit in Canada and return to Washington. He has made it clear that he is returning not just to facilitate peace talks, but to take concrete action.

Trump has previously attempted numerous times to bring Iran to the negotiating table regarding its nuclear program, but without concrete results. Now, with direct conflict underway between Israel and Iran, Trump views this as a strategic opportunity—a 'last chance'.

America's Proposal: Complete Halt on Uranium Enrichment

According to a report by 'The Jerusalem Post', the Trump administration is preparing a new proposal for Iran. This proposal may be slightly more flexible than previous ones, but its central condition remains the same—Zero Uranium Enrichment. The US wants Iran to completely cease uranium enrichment at all levels to prevent the development of nuclear weapons.

This proposal may be presented as a final opportunity. It is part of the US strategy to pressure Iran, allowing the Trump administration to maintain a ber negotiating position.

Mediation by Qatar and Oman for Negotiations

Iran, currently facing Israeli attacks, is trying to find a diplomatic solution to avoid war. To this end, it has attempted to reach the US through Qatar and Oman. Saudi Arabia is also mediating behind the scenes to explore the possibility of a ceasefire.

Trump himself has acknowledged that Iran has contacted the US to stop the Israeli attacks. He also stated that Iran should understand that it cannot win this war and that returning to negotiations would be in its best interest.

Israel's Stance: Wary of 'False Negotiations'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu deeply distrusts this negotiation process. In an interview with American media, he stated that Iran is only trying to buy time. Netanyahu accused Iran of lying and misleading the US.

Israeli intelligence agencies believe that no concrete proposal has yet been received from Iran, and that Israel will continue military action until a decisive outcome is achieved.

America's Divided Approach

Deep divisions remain within the US administration regarding direct involvement in the conflict. US Central Command (CENTCOM) believes that the US should support Israel in this conflict, but this view is not shared by Trump-supporting groups and some security experts. They believe that the US should remain uninvolved in the war and limit its actions to strategic pressure.

According to former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Dan Shapiro, Trump has not yet made a final decision on any military strike. However, he is certainly using the threat of war to bring Iran to the diplomatic table.

Military Preparations Complete, but Decision Pending

The US Department of Defense has deployed an aircraft carrier and approximately 30 fuel tanker aircraft to the Middle East. Sources indicate that if Trump authorizes military action, the US is prepared to immediately execute the plan.

However, experts believe that this move is currently intended to exert strategic pressure. Trump wants to use this situation to secure a better agreement, forcing Iran to accept US terms regarding its nuclear program.

Iran's Response

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has stated that Iran did not start this war and has no interest in continuing it. He called Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu a "wanted criminal" and accused him of dragging the US into his wars for decades.

Araghchi said that if Trump is genuinely interested in diplomacy, the next move is his. He made it clear that Iran will not back down until Israel stops its aggression.
