Sultanpur, December 12, 2025 — The deadline for submitting forms under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign of the voter list in Uttar Pradesh has been extended. Voters can now submit their completed forms until December 26, 2025. The previous deadline was set for December 11th.
The campaign aims to make the voter list completely accurate and error-free. This includes verification of deceased, migrated, absent, and duplicate names. As per the prescribed procedure, the revised draft list will be published on December 31st. Following this, an opportunity will be provided to register claims and objections.
Officials state that the extension of the deadline will provide relief to voters who were previously unable to submit their forms. The final voter list will be released on February 28, 2026.
