Demand to hand over JDU command to Nishant Kumar

National Lok Morcha President and former Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha has sent a clear political message to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said that Nitish Kumar should now take responsibility for running the government and hand over the reins of the party leadership to his son, Nishant Kumar.

Kushwaha said in a Facebook post that Nitish Kumar has a long experience in governance which is in the interest of the state. But now the demand of the time is that accountability be transferred within the party.

Decision necessary in time: Kushwaha

Upendra Kushwaha wrote in his post that if a decision regarding the JDU leadership is not taken in time, the party may suffer losses that can never be recovered. He said that this is not just his personal opinion, but thousands of JDU workers and leaders also agree with this opinion.

Upendra Kushwaha made this comment on Nishant Kumar's birthday. While wishing him well, he advised that Nitish Kumar should take a decisive step regarding the transfer of leadership on this occasion. He described it as necessary for the future of the party.

It is not appropriate to run the party and the government together now

Kushwaha wrote in the Facebook post that Nitish Kumar is no longer in a position to run both the party and the government together. He said that Nitish Kumar's experience in running the government is unique and he should continue to play that role. But now he will have to take a serious decision regarding the future of the party.

Claim to form NDA government again

A day earlier, during a program in Samastipur, Upendra Kushwaha also claimed that the NDA government will be formed again in Bihar. He said that the public's trust is intact in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the NDA is completely united.

Opposition's objections to voter list rejected

Upendra Kushwaha completely rejected the objections raised by the opposition parties on the special intensive revision campaign of the voter list going on in Bihar. He said that it is the responsibility of the Election Commission of India (ECI) to identify and remove fake voters from the list.
