According to media reports, the UPSC Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2026 admit cards may be made available for download today. However, the Commission has not yet announced an official date for the release of the admit cards.
After the admit cards are released, candidates will be able to download them from upsconline.gov.in or the official UPSC website. Candidates will be required to enter their registration ID or roll number along with their date of birth to access the hall ticket.
The UPSC CMS 2026 examination will be conducted on August 2, 2026, at examination centres across the country. The examination will be held on the same day in two shifts.
The first shift will be conducted from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., while the second shift will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Candidates are advised to reach their examination centres before the reporting time to facilitate the admission process.
Once the admit cards are released, candidates should visit upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in and click on the UPSC CMS Admit Card 2026 link available on the homepage.
Candidates should then enter their registration ID or roll number and date of birth before submitting the details. After logging in, the admit card will be displayed on the screen. Candidates should verify all the details, download the admit card, and retain a printed copy for the examination.
The UPSC CMS recruitment process begins with a Computer-Based Test (CBT) comprising two papers, with each paper carrying 250 marks. Candidates are allotted two hours to complete each paper.
Candidates who secure the prescribed cutoff marks in the written examination will be called for a Personality Test carrying 100 marks. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the combined marks obtained in the written examination and the Personality Test. Candidates are advised to carefully read the examination centre details, reporting time, and other instructions mentioned on the admit card before appearing for the examination.
