UPSC Recruitment 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications for the recruitment of Lecturer and other important positions. Under this recruitment, a total of 15 posts will be filled. Which posts are vacant for UPSC Recruitment?

A total of 15 posts will be filled in this recruitment. These posts are as follows:

  • Assistant Director: 3 posts
  • Lecturer (English): 5 posts
  • Lecturer (Mathematics): 7 posts

Candidates must have special qualifications in the relevant subject for these posts.

What is the eligibility for recruitment?

Eligibility has been determined differently for each post. The post-wise eligibility is given below:

  • Assistant Director: Bachelor's degree in Science from a recognized university or Diploma in any branch of Engineering/Technology.
  • Lecturer (English): Postgraduate degree in English with B.Ed. is mandatory.
  • Lecturer (Mathematics): Postgraduate degree in Mathematics with B.Ed. is mandatory.

The qualification must be completely correct and from a recognized institution.

Application Process and Last Date

Eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official UPSC website upsc.gov.in. Keep in mind that the last date to apply is August 28, 2025. The last date for printing the application form after submitting the online application is August 29, 2025.

Check all the documents while applying so that there are no obstacles in the application process. It is very important to apply on time as late applications will not be accepted.

Selection Process and Interview

For selection in this recruitment, mainly interview will be conducted. Candidates will have to obtain minimum marks in the interview, which will be decided according to their category.

  • Minimum 50 marks for General Category/Unreserved Category.
  • Minimum 45 marks for Other Backward Classes (OBC).
  • Minimum 40 marks for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and PwD candidates.

The interview is of total 100 marks. Where there is also a recruitment examination, the minimum qualifying level has to be fulfilled in both the examination and the interview.

Application Fee and Payment Options

The application fee for all categories for this recruitment has been fixed at ₹25/-. This fee can be deposited in cash at an SBI branch or can also be paid online through modes like Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, UPI.

Keep in mind that application fee is waived for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, candidates with disabilities and women. Whereas, male candidates of General Category, OBC and Economically Weaker Section will have to pay this fee compulsorily.
