In the Under-19 Asia Cup match between India and Pakistan, Vaibhav Suryavanshi was dismissed early. Despite the early setback, Ayush and Aaron George steadied the team. Pakistan's bowling put pressure on the Indian batsmen.
IND U19 vs PAK U19: India's young batsman, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, did not perform as expected against Pakistan in the Under-19 Asia Cup on Sunday. The left-handed batsman was expected to put pressure on the Pakistani bowlers with his aggressive style, but he couldn't. Vaibhav failed to reach double figures in the match and was dismissed early.
Mohammad Siyam Takes the Wicket
Vaibhav Suryavanshi's wicket was taken by Mohammad Siyam. Siyam's delivery came in from off stump and Vaibhav couldn't handle it. The ball hit the upper edge of his bat and went straight into Siyam's hands. This gave India an early blow, and the team's score was only 29 runs. Vaibhav was out on the second ball of the fourth over.
Vaibhav Couldn't Repeat Previous Match Success
Vaibhav Suryavanshi had performed brilliantly in the previous match against UAE. He scored 171 runs off 95 balls, leading the team to victory. Therefore, a similar performance was expected from him against Pakistan, but he struggled due to the rain and pitch conditions. The rain had changed the pitch, causing the ball to stop rather than come with the expected pace and bounce, which affected Vaibhav's batting.

Ayush's Contribution
After Vaibhav's dismissal, the team captain, Ayush, took responsibility from the other end. He tried to move the team forward with the help of fours and sixes. Ayush scored 38 runs off 25 balls, including four fours and three sixes. Ayush and Aaron George together added 49 runs for the second wicket in 40 balls, which helped the team recover from the early setback.
However, just as Ayush was moving towards a half-century, Mohammad Siyam dismissed him as well. This gave India another consecutive blow and created difficulties in increasing the score.
Pressure from Pakistan's Bowling
Pakistan's bowlers maintained pressure on the Indian batsmen on an already difficult pitch. The line and length of the fast bowlers affected the batting of Vaibhav and Ayush. The good strategy of Siyam and his fellow bowlers put the Indian batsmen in trouble. The match became both a mental and technical challenge for Team India.
Indian Team's Strategy
The Indian team adopted an aggressive strategy at the beginning of the match. A fast start was expected from the opening pair of captain Ayush and Vaibhav. However, Vaibhav's early dismissal gave the team an early setback. But Ayush and Aaron George together steadied the team and balanced the scoreboard. The team management is now focusing more on the third wicket and middle-order batting.
