A grand Kumbhabhishek is scheduled to be held in the coming days at the famous Vishalakshi Shaktipeeth in Varanasi. The temple administration and pilgrim priests have intensified their preparations. This special ritual, which takes place approximately every 12 years, has generated significant enthusiasm among devotees.

Cleaning, painting, and decoration work is rapidly underway in the temple premises and the sanctum sanctorum. A group of acharyas and Vedic scholars from South India will also arrive in Varanasi to participate in the event. Sequential pujas, special havans, Shikhar Pujan (spire consecration), and Dev Pratishtha (deity installation) are among the programs being scheduled for the ritual.

It is believed that after the Kumbhabhishek, the spiritual energy of the temple becomes even more potent. Consequently, a large number of devotees from neighboring states are preparing to visit Varanasi. The local administration is also formulating a special plan for security, crowd management, and providing facilities.
