BJP senior leader Suvendu Adhikari hit back at Mamata Banerjee's 'shake India' statement. He said that in April, the people of Bengal would remove her from power and force her to beg at Kalighat.
West Bengal: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee recently warned that if the BJP or other political parties harm Bengal and mistreat its people, she would shake the entire India. This statement stirred political unrest in the state and sparked sharp exchanges between the two major parties. Mamata's statement came amidst political tensions related to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls and the upcoming assembly elections, further intensifying the political heat in the state.
Suvendu Adhikari's Strong Retort
BJP leader and senior leader of the opposition, Suvendu Adhikari, directly retaliated against Mamata Banerjee's statement. At his 'Parivartan Yatra' rally in Haldia, he stated that the people of Bengal would give such a b response to Mamata Banerjee after the assembly elections that she would be ousted from power and forced to sit with a begging bowl in front of the Kalighat temple.

Adhikari alleged that the Trinamool Congress is transforming Bengal into a place where law and order have completely weakened, and citizen safety is at risk. He added that this situation is insensitive even towards the deceased, and that is why public trust in the state is eroding.
Mamata Banerjee's Warning
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee stated in her announcement that if Bengal is attacked or its people are harmed, the consequences would shake the entire nation. An attack on the state's security is a direct assault on her personal rights and responsibilities, and she cannot overlook it.
