Vindhyachal Division Sets 3.21 Lakh Ton Paddy Procurement Target for Kharif 2025-26, Commencing November 1st

Now, 3,21,000 tons of paddy will be procured at 201 centers in the Vindhyachal division

Paddy procurement in the Vindhyachal division for the Kharif Marketing Season 2025-26 will commence from November 1st.

For the convenience of farmers, 12 new centers have been added in Sonbhadra district.

This time, a target has been set to procure a total of 3,21,000 tons of paddy from 201 centers in the division.

The district-wise targets are as follows:
  • Mirzapur: 1,83,000 tons
  • Bhadohi: 35,000 tons
  • Sonbhadra: 1,03,000 tons

The distribution of total procurement centers in this division is as follows:
  • Food Department: 82 centers
  • UP Pradeshik Cooperative Federation (PCF): 49 centers
  • UP Cooperative Union (PCU): 44 centers
  • UP Consumer Cooperative Union (UPSS): 20 centers
  • Food Corporation of India (FCI): 3 centers
  • Mandi Samiti: 3 centers

This year, the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for paddy has been increased by ₹69 per quintal.

MSP for common paddy: ₹2,369 per quintal

MSP for Grade A paddy: ₹2,389 per quintal

Farmers will be provided the convenience of online registration. For this, they can use the FCS.UP.NIC.IN portal or CSC /

cyber cafes or public service centers. The following documents will be required at the time of registration:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • Voter ID Card
  • Passport size photograph
  • First page of bank passbook
  • Photocopy of land records / Khatauni / Jotbahi

  • First page of bank passbook

Last year (2024-25), 3,28,211.78 tons of paddy were procured from 50,501 farmers in this division — exceeding the target.
In Mirzapur, 1,87,598.82 tons were procured from 97 centers, achieving 120.88% of the target.
In Sonbhadra, 1,17,822.48 tons were procured from 69 centers, achieving 116.37% of the target.
In Bhadohi, 19,725.47 tons of paddy were procured from 31 centers.
