Yami Gautam has shared her response to the upcoming release of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, which is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on 19 March 2026. Speaking to the media, the actor said she felt emotional after watching the film and commended director Aditya Dhar for his commitment to the project.
When asked about the 19 March release during a media interaction, Yami did not directly name the film but indicated that further details could be provided by her husband. She stated that after watching the film, she was deeply moved.
According to Yami, she was unable to focus on any other work after viewing the film. She said that even during a flight, she continued to reflect on the experience. She described the project as more than an action or thriller film, calling it a deeply emotional experience.
Yami also praised Aditya Dhar’s efforts, stating that he shares a b connection with his audience and the country and that he worked on the film with honesty and dedication.
The first installment of ‘Dhurandhar’ was released in December 2025 and earned more than Rs 1,000 crore globally within three weeks of its release. Following that performance, expectations are high for ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, particularly as it is set to release alongside Yash’s ‘Toxic’.
Industry discussions have also centred on reports that Yami Gautam may appear in a cameo in the sequel. There has been no official confirmation regarding this. Trade analysts are closely watching the box office competition between ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ and ‘Toxic’, with attention also on advance booking trends.
