Yogi Adityanath Visits Kashi Ahead of PM Modi's Development Project Launch

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Kashi late Friday evening, a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Varanasi. He began his visit by offering prayers at the Baba Kaal Bhairav ​​temple.

Varanasi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Kashi late Friday evening, a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi's highly anticipated visit to Varanasi. This visit is considered very important from the point of view of religious faith and administrative preparations. After his arrival, the Chief Minister first offered prayers at the Baba Kaal Bhairav ​​temple and then visited Baba Vishwanath at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham. This was his third visit in the month of Sawan, in which he wished for the happiness, prosperity and peace of the people of the state.

PM Modi to gift projects worth ₹2200 crore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth more than ₹2200 crore in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Saturday, August 2, 2025. This program will be held in a huge public meeting organized at Banauli village located in Sevapuri block of Varanasi. These projects include road construction, expansion of health services, development of the education sector and agriculture-related schemes. Thousands of workers, local people and administrative officers are expected to participate in the public meeting.

Yogi Adityanath reviewed the preparations

This visit of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was not limited to religious faith only. He held a review meeting regarding the preparations for Prime Minister Modi's program and directly inspected the arrangements at the public meeting site. CM Yogi himself will welcome the Prime Minister at the airport on Saturday and will be present with him at the program venues. Apart from this, he has instructed the administration and security agencies to complete all the preparations in a timely and well-planned manner.

During the Prime Minister's visit, many other senior leaders will also be present in Varanasi. Uttar Pradesh BJP President Bhupendra Chaudhary and Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak will also be a part of the program. The local administration, police department and BJP workers are engaged in ensuring the success of the entire event. Multi-layer security arrangements have been made regarding security and monitoring is being done through drone cameras.
