The UP Board 10th-12th compartment exams will be held on July 19th in two shifts. Download the admit card from the website and follow all guidelines to ensure students succeed in the exam and are promoted to the next class.
UPMSP: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the dates for the 10th and 12th-grade compartment exams. This is crucial information for students who performed poorly in one or two subjects in the main High School or Intermediate exams and applied for the compartment exams. According to the schedule released by the council, these exams will be conducted on July 19, 2025.
Exams for both classes on the same day, in different shifts
UPMSP has clarified that the compartment exams for High School (10th grade) and Intermediate (12th grade) will be held on the same day, but the shifts for both will be different.
- High School Compartment Exam: 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM
- Intermediate Compartment Exam: 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM
This arrangement has been made to facilitate students in taking the exams according to their time and location.
Where to find the schedule and admit card?
Students can obtain complete information related to the exam and the official schedule by visiting the council's website, www.upmsp.edu.in. Additionally, students who have applied for the compartment exam can download their admit cards from the same website.
School principals have been instructed to download the admit cards of the registered examinees, sign them, and make them available to the students in time.
Instructions and guidelines issued for the examination center
The UP Board has issued strict guidelines to ensure the fairness and transparency of the examination. All these guidelines will be mandatorily applicable to all students and staff at the examination center.
Key Instructions:
1. No entry for outsiders
No external person will be allowed entry into the examination center other than the examinees, teachers, center administrators, and essential non-teaching staff.
2. Crowd control arrangements
Special arrangements will be made at the center to avoid unnecessary crowding of students at the beginning and end of the exams. The center administrator must ensure that there is no crowd of students at the entrance.
3. Mobile phones and electronic devices prohibited
Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, earphones, or any type of electronic device are strictly prohibited in the examination hall. Students found with these items may be disqualified from the exam.
4. CCTV surveillance mandatory

5. Mandatory to arrive before time
It is mandatory for the examinee to reach the examination center at least 45 minutes before the start of the exam so that they can be seated in the examination hall in an organized manner.
Advice for Students
- Students who have applied for the compartment exam should download their admit cards as soon as possible.
- Read the information related to the exam date, time, and center carefully and keep your documents ready on time.
- Do not carry any prohibited items (mobile phones, calculators, notes, etc.) with you into the examination hall.
- Maintain discipline at the examination center and follow the instructions of the administration.
Why is the exam important?
The compartment exam is a second opportunity for students who have failed in one or two subjects. Upon passing this exam, they will be considered to have passed the main exam like other students and will be promoted to the next class. This can save their entire academic year.
