Entertainment Desk: The anticipation for Salman Khan's much-awaited film "Sikander" has reached its peak. Advance bookings for the Eid release have been phenomenal, leading to exorbitant ticket prices. Notably, tickets are not just expensive in multiplexes but also in single-screen theaters.

"Sikander" Ticket Prices Reach ₹2200 in Multiplexes

The film's impressive advance bookings have caused ticket prices to surge unexpectedly across multiplexes nationwide. Reports indicate that ticket prices have reached ₹2200 in Mumbai's "Director's Cut" and "Lux" multiplexes. In Delhi, prices range between ₹1600 and ₹1900. Furthermore, even normal multiplex seats in major cities are being sold for ₹850-₹900.

"Sikander" Tickets Priced High in Single-Screen Theaters Too

Single-screen theaters are typically considered affordable for mass audiences, but the demand for "Sikander" is so high that ticket prices have increased significantly here as well. At Plaza Cinema in Dadar, Mumbai, recliner seats cost up to ₹700, which is considerably high for a single-screen theater. While some cities still offer tickets in the ₹90-₹200 range, prices are rapidly increasing in high-demand locations.

"Sikander" Demonstrates Strength in Advance Bookings

Since its commencement on Thursday, "Sikander's" advance bookings have received an overwhelming response. Many screens in major cities, particularly in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai, are already houseful, with shows filling up rapidly. The immense excitement surrounding "Sikander's" bookings has led trade analysts to anticipate a massive opening collection for the film.

Star Cast and Release Date

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, "Sikander" features Salman Khan alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, and Satyraj in pivotal roles. The film is slated for worldwide release on March 30th, and fans are eagerly awaiting Bhaijaan's return to the big screen. It remains to be seen how successfully Salman Khan's "Sikander" performs at the box office.
