Significant Gift for Farmers
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav recently made another significant announcement benefiting farmers. He stated that the government will provide a ₹4,000 incentive per hectare to rice farmers. This amount will be distributed this month, benefiting lakhs of farmers across the state.
Furthermore, wheat farmers will also receive benefits. The government has decided to purchase wheat at a rate of ₹2,600 per quintal. In addition to this, wheat farmers will receive an extra bonus of ₹175 per quintal.
Emphasis on Ken-Betwa Project for Agricultural Development
To increase farmers' income and strengthen the agricultural sector in the state, the Madhya Pradesh government has prioritized the Ken-Betwa River Interlinking Project. This project will connect the rivers, expanding irrigation facilities and enabling farmers to achieve improved agricultural yields.
