Left-Wing MLAs Given Key Roles in Bihar Assembly Committee Restructuring
Bihar News: The Bihar Legislative Assembly has undergone a committee restructuring, resulting in several significant changes. Left-wing MLAs have been entrusted with prominent responsibilities this time. The chairmanship of committees related to the tourism industry and the agricultural industry has been given to Left-wing MLAs. The term of the 26 committees will last until March 31, 2025.

The BJP has been allotted the most committees, with eight, while the RJD has received six, the JD(U) five, and the Congress two. The CPI(ML) and CPI have each been given the chairmanship of one committee. The CPI, with two MLAs, has not been given the chairmanship of any committee.

Questions Raised Over Employee List in Building Construction Department
Discrepancies have been found in the list of employees posted in the regional offices of the Building Construction Department. The department has sought a response from the work divisions in this regard. The number of employees in the lists submitted in 2024 and 2025 has been found to be different.
