West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will be traveling to London on March 22nd for an event at Oxford University. Following this, she will participate in other events as well. Regarding her trip, Banerjee stated that while she is in London, ministerial colleagues will handle state affairs. Party responsibilities will be overseen by Subrata Bakshi and Abhishek Banerjee.

Response to False Propaganda

Banerjee accused certain individuals of spreading false information against her through WhatsApp and email. She stated that while criticism of national leaders traveling abroad is common, some are engaging in negative publicity surrounding her trip. She added, "Please insult me, not Bengal."

Sharp Remarks on Envy

Responding to accusations fueled by envy, Mamata Banerjee stated that some individuals are attempting to defame her. She commented that there is no cure for envy. She alleged that emails being sent against her abroad originate from the Ganashatru and Left parties.

Condemnation of Nagpur Violence

Banerjee bly condemned the violence in Nagpur, Maharashtra, stating that India is known for its unity in diversity. However, she refrained from commenting extensively on the matter, stating that Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray would address the issue.
