He participated in various programs that promoted the nation's development and cultural enrichment. The Prime Minister began his tour in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, where he inaugurated the 'Invest Madhya Pradesh' Global Investors Summit.

Bhopal: 'Invest Madhya Pradesh' Charts a New Path for Development

Prime Minister Modi commenced his tour by inaugurating the 'Invest Madhya Pradesh' Summit in Bhopal. At this global investment conference, he unveiled 18 new policies aimed at boosting industrial development in the state. The PM highlighted the immense investment potential in the textile, tourism, and technology sectors, anticipating the creation of millions of jobs. He stated, "This is India's golden age, when the entire world recognizes our capabilities and prioritizes India for investment."

Patna: A Boon for Farmers; ₹22,000 Crore Released under PM-Kisan

After Madhya Pradesh, PM Modi arrived in Bihar, where he released the 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan). Under this scheme, approximately ₹22,000 crore was directly transferred to the accounts of 9.8 crore farmers. He emphasized the government's focus on resolving farmers' issues and making the agricultural sector self-reliant. He also announced the formation of a special board for Makhana farmers, aiming to unlock new opportunities in this sector.

Guwahati: Celebration of Assam's Culture and Emphasis on Women's Empowerment

Upon reaching Assam, the Prime Minister received a grand welcome. He paid tribute to Assam's cultural heritage by witnessing a *Jhumur Binondini* dance performance by 9,000 artists. He also focused on the empowerment of tea garden workers and women. He announced financial assistance of ₹15,000 to over 1.5 million pregnant women under a government initiative, aiming to protect them from financial hardship during pregnancy.
