A fire erupted in an electrical cable during Sant Premanand's nighttime procession, causing a commotion among devotees. Fortunately, the procession had already passed, averting a major accident.
Sant-Premanand Ji Maharaj: A large number of devotees participated in Sant Premanand's nighttime procession. Starting at 2:00 AM from Shri Krishna Sharanam, the procession proceeded via Sunrak Marg to Raman Reti on the Parikrama Marg. Throughout the journey, a large crowd of devotees enthusiastically participated and sought the saint's blessings.
Fire in Electrical Cable
As the procession reached Shri Radha Kelikunj, a spark suddenly ignited in the electrical cable connected to a transformer at the Sunrak Mod Parikrama Marg, quickly escalating into a fire. This incident caused panic among the devotees, who scattered. However, thankfully, the procession had already passed that point, preventing any casualties.
Negligence by the Electricity Department Could Have Increased the Risk
This incident highlights the negligence of the electricity department. Due to Sant Premanand's birth anniversary celebrations, the number of devotees in Vrindavan is steadily increasing. If the fire hadn't been controlled in time, a major accident could have occurred.
