Recently, a heated exchange occurred between Trump and Zelenskyy in the Oval Office; however, Zelenskyy has since softened his stance and expressed gratitude for American support.

America: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's recent visit to the United States has garnered significant attention due to several controversies. A heated argument involving US President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Zelenskyy in the Oval Office has sparked global discussion. This incident has created uncertainty within the Collective West. While the US desires a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia, European countries remain supportive of Zelenskyy.

Trump's Allegation – ‘Zelenskyy is Disrespecting America’

Donald Trump accused Zelenskyy of disrespecting America and inviting a third world war by not ending the conflict. However, days after this controversy, Zelenskyy's tone has moderated, and he has expressed gratitude for American support.

Zelenskyy Praises American Support

At a significant summit on the Russia-Ukraine war held in London, Zelenskyy stated,
"There isn't a single day when we haven't felt gratitude towards America."

He shared a video on the social media platform X, stating that Europe has expressed solidarity with Ukraine in the war and that genuine security guarantees are needed for peace.

"We understand the importance of America and are grateful for its support. We need peace, not war."

Zelenskyy Willing to Resign if NATO Membership is Secured

Zelenskyy clarified that he is prepared to resign as president if Ukraine receives security guarantees and gains NATO membership. However, he emphasized that Ukraine will not cede even an inch of its land under any peace agreement with Russia.

Ukraine Ready for Mineral Deal with America

Ukraine is also prepared to enter into a mineral deal with the United States. Zelenskyy said,
"We are ready to sign a mineral deal, and it will be the first step towards security guarantees. However, we need much more."

It is noteworthy that America had demanded a mineral deal in exchange for aid to Ukraine, given Ukraine's significant reserves of lithium and rare earth minerals, strategically important to the United States.

Zelenskyy: Will Not Give Up an Inch of Land to Russia

Regarding the Oval Office controversy, Zelenskyy stated he prefers not to dwell on the incident but advocates for a b ceasefire. He emphatically stated that under no circumstances,
"will we give up even an inch of our country's land to Russia."

He also hinted that if Russia guarantees it will not attack Ukraine again, he might be prepared to resign.
