The Indian Navy has officially released the recruitment notification for Agniveer SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit) and MR (Matric Recruit) positions.
Education: The Indian Navy has released the official notification for recruitment to Agniveer SSR and MR positions. The application process will commence on March 29, 2025, and conclude on April 10, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website, joinindiannavy.gov.in. This recruitment is being conducted for the 02/2025 and 02/2026 batches, and applications will be accepted only through online mode.

Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications and age limits to participate in this recruitment process.
Educational Qualifications
Agniveer MR: Candidates must have passed Class 10 from any recognized board.
Agniveer SSR: Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science/Chemistry/Biology.
Age Limit
The age limit for different batches is as follows:
02/2025 Batch: Candidates must have been born between September 1, 2004, and February 29, 2008.
01/2026 Batch: Candidates must have been born between February 1, 2005, and July 31, 2008.
02/2026 Batch: Candidates must have been born between July 1, 2005, and December 31, 2008.

New candidates will need to register, while already registered candidates can log in directly.
Fill out the application form, uploading all necessary information and documents.
Pay the prescribed application fee.
After submitting the form, take a printout and keep it safe for future reference.
Application Fee: The application fee for this recruitment process is ₹550, which must be paid online through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. Note that applications without fee payment will not be considered.

Under the Agniveer scheme, selected candidates will serve in the Indian Navy for four years. During this period, they will receive an attractive salary and other benefits. Successful completion of service may offer Agniveers an opportunity for permanent recruitment.
