While captain Harmanpreet Singh was rested for this match, other team members stepped up and took full responsibility. Spain had defeated India 3-1 in the first leg on Saturday, but the Indian team delivered a stunning performance in the return match to secure the win.

Mandeep Singh and Dilpreet Singh Score Stunning Goals

India's 2-0 victory over Spain in the FIH Pro League was significantly aided by field goals from Mandeep Singh and Dilpreet Singh. Mandeep scored in the 32nd minute, while Dilpreet beat the Spanish goalkeeper in the 39th minute. These two goals secured three points for India and ensured their lead in the match.

In the 5th minute, Mandeep had a great scoring chance, but Spanish goalkeeper Rafael Ravila made a superb save. India earned consecutive penalty corners in the closing moments of the first quarter, but Jugraj Singh was unable to convert.

Indian goalkeeper Krishan Bahadur Pathak delivered a stellar performance, preventing a Spanish penalty corner in the 14th minute from becoming a goal – a crucial moment in the match. India made numerous attempts to score in the first two quarters, but Spain's b defense prevented them from succeeding. The first half ended goalless, with the match tied.

After the break, India played with increased pace and earned a penalty corner within the first two minutes, but Jugraj Singh's shot was again saved by Spanish goalkeeper Rafael Ravila. Following this, Mandeep Singh provided a brilliant assist, which Dilpreet Singh converted into a goal, giving India a 1-0 lead.
