Sachin Pilot Says – Congress Hasn't Lost its Enthusiasm, Transformation is Ongoing

Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Sachin Pilot, in a pre-convention interview, said the party has "not lost its fighting spirit and enthusiasm." He stressed that a generational shift is naturally occurring within the Congress, with young leaders assuming responsibilities. He noted that no change happens overnight. The party remains committed to empowering SCs, STs, OBCs, minorities, women, and youth.

Adherence to the 'Udaipur Declaration' Continues

Sachin Pilot explained that the Congress has fully embraced the Udaipur Declaration, and organizational appointments reflect this spirit. He stated that youth are being prioritized for leadership roles, whether in the AICC, state units, or parliamentary parties. This convention is being held in a crucial state like Gujarat, where the Congress party is attempting to regain its lost legacy.

Pilot stated that this convention will play a significant role not only from an organizational perspective but also in the party's self-assessment and the determination of its future direction.
