He is under observation in the cardiology department after complaining of chest pain and discomfort. Sources indicate that the 73-year-old Vice President was brought to AIIMS around 2 AM on Saturday night. A specialized team of doctors, led by Dr. Rajiv Narang, head of the cardiology department, is closely monitoring his health condition.

According to AIIMS sources, the Vice President's condition is currently stable, but he has been admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) as a precaution. Doctors say that all necessary health checks are being conducted, and he is receiving the required treatment. Following news of the Vice President's health setback, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and other top leaders have wished him a speedy recovery.
