According to fire brigade officer ADFO SK Sawant, the fire was reported around 12:30 AM. The incident occurred at a location where Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) work was underway. Preliminary investigations suggest that a gas pipeline leak caused the fire, resulting in the vehicles being destroyed.
Fire Brigade Faces Challenges in Extinguishing the Blaze
Fire engines arrived at the scene upon receiving the report and began efforts to control the fire. The rapid spread of the fire due to the gas leak presented significant challenges to the fire brigade. However, their swift action prevented a larger disaster.
