Noida: Sanjay Singh, a Deputy Commissioner in the GST department based in Ghaziabad, committed suicide by jumping from the 15th floor of Apex Athena Society in Sector-75, Noida. It is understood that he had been suffering from cancer for a long time, leading to significant mental distress.
Leapt to his death from the 15th floor of the society building
The incident occurred at Apex Athena Society in Noida's Sector-75, where Deputy Commissioner Sanjay Singh resided in flat number 2004 of the E Tower. He jumped to his death from the 15th floor on Monday. The police have recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem.
Sanjay Singh was suffering from cancer
Family members reported that Sanjay Singh was in the final stages of cancer and had been suffering from prolonged mental anguish. His battle with the disease led to severe depression, believed to be the cause of his actions.
