The Rajasthan government has approved the "Rajasthan Coaching Centers (Control and Regulation) Bill-2025" to regulate coaching centers in the state and provide students with a safe learning environment.

Jaipur: The Rajasthan government has approved the "Rajasthan Coaching Centers (Control and Regulation) Bill-2025," aimed at regulating coaching institutions and ensuring a secure learning environment for students. The bill was approved in a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, signifying stricter control over coaching institutions operating in the state.

Under this bill, registration will be mandatory for coaching centers with 50 or more students. Furthermore, a state-level portal, a 24x7 helpline, and a monitoring authority will be established. The government has also approved a skill development policy to train youth in the latest technologies and implemented an equal opportunities policy for persons with disabilities. Students and parents have welcomed this decision.

Mandatory Registration for Coaching Centers

Under the new bill, all coaching centers with 50 or more students will be required to register. The government believes this will increase transparency in institutions and prevent student exploitation. Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairawa stated that strict action will be taken against any illegally operating coaching institutions under this law.

Establishment of a State-Level Portal and 24x7 Helpline

A state-level portal will be developed to monitor the activities of coaching institutions and address student complaints. Additionally, a 24x7 helpline service will be launched to resolve student issues. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel explained that the "Rajasthan Coaching Institution (Control and Regulation) Authority" will also be formed to oversee the activities of these institutions.

New Model Career Centers to be Established

The state government has decided to open model career centers in all divisional headquarters to provide career guidance and employment opportunities for youth. These centers will offer career counseling, internship information, and employment-related information. The government has also approved a skill development policy that will train Rajasthan's youth in the latest technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, automation, and cybersecurity. Courses will be designed to meet the demands of industrial sectors, and on-the-job training will also be provided.

Equal Opportunities Policy for Persons with Disabilities Implemented

The government has also approved an equal opportunities policy for persons with disabilities to ensure barrier-free access for them in government offices and institutions. This policy will provide disabled employees with the necessary facilities to perform their duties effectively. This decision by the state government has been praised by students and parents, who believe it will improve quality and accountability in the coaching industry. The government believes this bill will help provide students with a better and safer learning environment.
