RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat visited Lucknow to participate in an organizational meeting. He will meet Sant Asang Dev in Lakhimpur. Discussions were held on preparations for the Sangh's centenary year.

UP News: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Lucknow on Tuesday after a five-day stay in Varanasi. He chaired a significant meeting focusing on preparations for the organization's upcoming centenary year in 2025. This visit is considered crucial for the Sangh's organizational strategy, social re-engagement, and connection with the saint community.

Two-hour organizational meetings in Lucknow

Arriving at Lucknow's Charbagh railway station at 6:30 AM by train, Bhagwat proceeded directly to Bharati Bhavan, where he held discussions with senior officials of the Avadh province regarding upcoming plans and programs. According to reliable Sangh sources, this meeting centered on preparations for a special nationwide campaign commemorating the Sangh's 100th anniversary in 2025.

During this time, Dr. Bhagwat also interacted with inactive and former officials as part of the 'Mann Thik' initiative. The aim of this interaction was to re-engage former workers and further strengthen the Sangh's grassroots presence.

Meeting with Sant Asang Dev in Lakhimpur

After a roughly two-hour stay in Lucknow, Dr. Bhagwat left for Lakhimpur Kheri, where he will seek blessings from national saint Asang Dev Maharaj at Kabir Dham. Asang Dev Ji is known as a prominent saint of the Kabirpanthi tradition, with millions of followers spread across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh.

Experts believe this meeting is not only spiritually significant but also holds social and strategic importance. The Sangh aims to strengthen ideological balance and religious harmony in society by increasing interaction with the saint community.

Laying the foundation for an upcoming national campaign

During his Lucknow visit, Dr. Bhagwat also indicated that the Sangh will launch the 'Sangh Darshan Jan Jan Tak' campaign from October-November 2025, showcasing the Sangh's core tenets, history, and social service initiatives on a large scale.
