Tejashwi Yadav: Leader of the Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav, launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, highlighting the lack of similarity between RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav and Nitish Kumar in terms of adherence to policies, principles, and ideology. Tejashwi stated that Lalu Prasad Yadav never compromised his ideology, even sacrificing his government. Conversely, Nitish Kumar has reportedly compromised on several occasions for the sake of power.

'I myself made Nitish Kumar Chief Minister twice'

In a conversation with reporters on Wednesday, Tejashwi Yadav expressed his displeasure with Nitish Kumar's remarks about Lalu Prasad Yadav in the Legislative Council. He said, "Lalu Prasad made many people Prime Minister. Leaving Lalu Ji aside, I myself made Nitish Kumar Chief Minister twice." Tejashwi was referring to the Nitish Kumar governments formed with the RJD's support in 2015 and 2022.

Tejashwi Yadav attacks the government: 'Crime is rampant in Bihar'

The Leader of the Opposition also criticized the government for the rising crime rate in Bihar. He stated that incidents of theft, robbery, and murder are continuously increasing in the state. At least 200 rounds of bullets are fired daily, he claimed.

Referring to recent incidents, he said, "Tanishq showroom was robbed twice. A private school in Hajipur was bombed in broad daylight. There is no semblance of a government in the state. The Chief Minister is failing to control the administration; therefore, he should resign."

Tejashwi's statement on Holi and Juma controversies

Tejashwi Yadav dismissed the controversies surrounding Holi and Juma as unnecessary. He stated that these are festivals of joy and should be celebrated together by all. He warned those spreading hatred in society that there should be no controversy over any festival.

Most Backward Classes rally in Patna on May 3rd

Tejashwi Yadav also announced the upcoming Most Backward Classes rally of the RJD. This rally will be held on May 3rd at the Miller High School grounds in Patna. The meeting decided to name this rally the 'Most Backward Classes Rally'.

RJD state president Arvind Kumar Sahni said that Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi Yadav will address this rally. Former minister Mo. Israel Mansuri said that after the caste-based census, the reservation for the Most Backward Classes was increased from 18 percent to 25 percent, but it has not been implemented yet.

'RJD will fight for reservation': Party spokesperson Ajaz Ahmed

RJD state spokesperson Ajaz Ahmed said that the party will continue its struggle until the Most Backward Classes get their due rights. MLA Bharat Bhushan Mandal said that 94 lakh poor families were identified in the Mahagathbandhan government. Delaying the scheme to give them two lakh rupees each is an injustice to the poor.

MLC Dr. Urmila Thakur said that the RJD's promises are beneficial for women and the party will always stand for the protection of women's rights.
