GI Tags Provide International Platform for Kashi's Art and Crafts
Under PM Modi's leadership, Kashi and its surrounding districts have received the highest number of GI tags. Twenty-one new GI certificates were also awarded on Friday, giving Kashi's wooden handicrafts and other folk arts national and global recognition.
Maha Kumbh a Success with Over 3 Crore Devotees
The Chief Minister stated that over 3 crore devotees visited Baba Vishwanath during the 45-day Maha Kumbh. The success of the Namami Gange project and strict hygiene and safety guidelines further enhanced the grandeur of the event.
Significant Changes in Healthcare
More than 10 crore people in Uttar Pradesh have benefited from the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Furthermore, over 50,000 cards have been issued in Kashi under the Ayush Vandan Yojana, providing ₹5 lakh health coverage to senior citizens aged 70 and above.
Banas Dairy Project Benefits Farmers and Cattle Breeders
CM Yogi mentioned that the Kashi unit of Banas Dairy has connected local farmers and cattle breeders to a new model of economic empowerment. Bonuses have also been distributed to cattle breeders associated with this unit. This has boosted value addition in the agriculture and dairy sectors.
