RRB Announces New Dates for Assistant Loco Pilot (CEN-01/2024) CBT-2 Exam: May 2nd and 6th, 2025. City slips will be available 10 days prior, and admit cards 4 days prior.

RRB ALP CBT-2: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a revised schedule for the CEN 1/2024 CBT-2 exam for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment. According to this schedule, the exam will be held on May 2nd and 6th, 2025. Candidates whose exams were previously scheduled for March 19th and 20th will now appear for the exam on these new dates.

Revised Schedule and Exam Dates

According to the notification issued by RRB, candidates whose exams were scheduled for the second shift on March 19th and the first shift on March 20th will now take the exam on May 2nd and 6th, 2025, respectively.

Exam Shifts and Reporting Time

First Shift: Candidates must report to the exam center by 7:30 AM.

Second Shift: Candidates must report to the center by 12:30 PM.

Exam City Intimation Slip Release Date

The Exam City Intimation Slip will be available for download 10 days prior to the exam date; i.e., April 22nd and 26th, 2025. This will inform candidates about their exam center and city.

Admit Card Availability

- May 2nd, 2025 Exam: Admit cards will be released on April 28th or 29th, 2025.

- May 6th, 2025 Exam: Admit cards will be available for download on May 2nd or 3rd, 2025.

Candidates are advised to download their admit cards well in advance and verify all their information before proceeding to the exam center.

Important Documents

Candidates must bring the following documents to the exam center:

- Aadhaar Card (or its e-verified copy)

- Admit Card

Candidates will not be permitted to sit for the exam without these documents. Candidates must bring these documents for identity verification.

CBT-2 Exam Pattern

The CBT-2 exam will consist of a total of 175 multiple-choice questions divided into two sections:

Section 1 (100 questions): This section will include questions related to Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and Basic Science and Engineering. 90 minutes will be allotted to complete this section.

Section 2 (75 questions): This section will include questions related to the relevant trade. 60 minutes will be allotted to complete this section.

- Candidates can obtain any new information or updates regarding the exam from the official RRB website.

- Only candidates who have fulfilled all eligibility criteria will be eligible to appear for the exam.
