Early Challenges
Anusha's journey was fraught with difficulties, but she never gave up. Her childhood was filled with challenges, the most significant being the death of her father. This event left a void in her life, but even in this sorrowful time, she composed herself and mustered the strength to move forward. Anusha, a consistent topper until the 12th grade, was determined to prove that she could succeed in any circumstance.
From B.Tech and a Job to UPSC
Anusha completed her B.Tech in IT from Bapatla Engineering College in 2014 and subsequently worked in the private sector for a year and a half. However, in 2017, she abandoned her career to focus on preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination. She then faced seven consecutive failures, including narrowly missing the main examination by just one mark in 2019 and failing the CSAT by a mere 0.05 marks in 2020.
Fate Offers Another Chance
In 2021, she made her final attempt, reaching the interview round but falling short of final selection by only four marks. This was incredibly disheartening, and she began to believe this path wasn't meant for her. But at that moment, a mentor advised her to take the Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination. This was a completely new idea; she had never considered it before.
A New Step Towards the IFS Examination
Embracing this new path, Anusha began preparing for the 2023 UPSC IFS examination and moved to Delhi. Through hard work and dedication, she succeeded in the examination, securing the 73rd All India Rank and becoming an Indian Forest Service Officer.
