Agra’s weather has changed after the rain recorded in recent days, with clear skies and ber sunshine reported across the city on Tuesday morning. The India Meteorological Department’s latest forecast indicates that rainfall activity is likely to remain weak in the coming days, with no specific warning issued for drizzle or rain.

According to the forecast from the Agra centre of the India Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Agra was expected to be around 26 degrees Celsius and the maximum around 32 degrees Celsius on September 8. The maximum temperature is forecast to reach 33 degrees Celsius on September 9 and could rise to 34 degrees Celsius between September 10 and 13. No weather warning has been issued for these days.

Agra recorded 8.8 millimetres of rainfall in the preceding 24 hours. On September 7, the maximum temperature was recorded at 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 24.5 degrees Celsius. Humidity remained after the rain, but sunshine on Tuesday increased the warmth. Relatively high morning humidity may also result in humid conditions in some areas.

The clear weather on Tuesday morning marked a change from the rainy conditions of the previous days. As the sunshine intensified after morning, temperatures also began to rise. The rainfall activity appears to be weakening, while daytime temperatures may increase over the next few days. Morning and late-evening temperatures are expected to remain relatively lower.

Other weather forecasts have also indicated a low probability of rainfall in Agra for now. One forecast for September 8 placed the maximum temperature at around 34 to 37 degrees Celsius and indicated a zero to very low probability of rain. The maximum temperature is also forecast to remain at 35 degrees Celsius or above on September 9 and 10.

The change in weather may affect the city’s normal routine. People who had faced difficulties commuting because of rain are expected to find travel easier as roads dry and traffic conditions return to normal. However, ber sunshine and rising temperatures may bring heat and humidity during the afternoon.

Agra has experienced several changes in weather during this year’s monsoon, with periods of heavy rain followed by clear skies within a few hours. Rainfall activity now appears to be weakening in the second week of September. The weather department’s seven-day forecast indicates a gradual rise in temperatures from September 8 to 13, with the maximum temperature expected to increase from 32 degrees to 34 degrees Celsius.

According to weather department data, there is no warning of any major rainfall system in Agra after September 8. This does not completely rule out local clouds or light drizzle, but widespread rainfall is not currently forecast. Conditions may change with local weather developments.

The increase in daytime temperatures due to sunshine may bring back warmer conditions in Agra. On Tuesday, different forecast agencies placed the expected maximum temperature at approximately 34 to 37 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature may remain around 26 to 28 degrees.

After relatively pleasant conditions in the morning, sunshine is expected to become ber during the afternoon. People travelling to schools, colleges, markets and offices may therefore experience higher temperatures during the afternoon. People working in open areas may also face direct exposure to the sun.

Clearer weather may also affect tourism in Agra. Visitors travelling to the Taj Mahal and other historical sites may experience fewer disruptions from rain. However, rising afternoon temperatures could make morning and evening visits more comfortable. Humidity associated with the September monsoon may continue, meaning the heat may feel greater than the recorded temperature.

For now, the key forecast for Agra is that conditions of heavy rainfall are not expected over the next few days. The IMD’s seven-day forecast indicates rising temperatures with partly cloudy skies from September 8 to 13, with no weather warning recorded for any of the days.

The weakening rainfall activity follows recent problems caused by waterlogging, slippery roads and travel disruptions. With temperatures rising again, Agra is expected to remain mainly warm and humid, with partly cloudy conditions in the coming days. There are currently no indications of widespread rainfall or intense drizzle over the next five days.
