Amit Shah: Indian Languages are the Soul of the Nation, English Speakers Will Feel Ashamed

Amit Shah described Indian languages as the soul of the nation. He asserted that English speakers will soon feel ashamed, and Indian languages will form the basis of India's leadership.

Delhi: Home Minister Amit Shah stated that India should be proud of its linguistic heritage. He claimed that soon, English speakers in the country will feel ashamed. During the book launch of 'Main Boond Swयं, Khud Sagar Hoon,' Shah elaborated on the importance of Indian languages, the role of 'Panch Pran,' and the need for changes in administrative training.

Indian Languages are the Soul of the Nation

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, describing Indian languages as the soul of the nation, said that the time has come for the country to reclaim its linguistic heritage. He stated that India should be proud of its language, culture, and history, and through these, it can lead the world.

'English Speakers Will Feel Ashamed'

At the launch ceremony of former IAS officer Ashutosh Agnihotri's book, 'Main Boond Swयं, Khud Sagar Hoon,' Shah said that the time is not far off when English speakers will feel ashamed. He said that a society is emerging in the country that will be proud of its native languages and culture.

India Cannot Be Understood Through a Foreign Language

Amit Shah said that a vast and diverse country like India cannot be fully understood through a foreign language. He said that no foreign language can provide a complete understanding of our soul or culture.

Languages are Jewels of Our Culture

Shah described Indian languages as jewels of culture, stating that without their languages, no Indian can be a true Indian. He said that this struggle is difficult, but Indian society will surely win this battle.

Emphasis on the Importance of 'Panch Pran'

In the program, Amit Shah discussed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Panch Pran,' stating that it has become the resolution of 1.3 billion people in the country. He said that these five resolutions include building a developed India, freeing from every symbol of slavery, pride in our heritage, commitment to unity and togetherness, and a sense of civic duty.

India Will Be at the Pinnacle by 2047

Shah expressed confidence that by 2047, India will be at the pinnacle, and Indian languages will play a decisive role in this. He said that the time has come when the country will move forward with self-respect in its own languages and provide global leadership.

Need for Change in Administrative Training

The Home Minister also said that a radical change is needed in the way administrative officers are trained. He said that the current training model is influenced by the British era, lacking empathy. According to Shah, no governance system can be successful without empathy.
