Operational Date: Daily from July 31, 2025
Fare: ₹560 per passenger
Route: Rajendra Nagar to New Delhi
Special Feature: This train directly connects Patna, the capital of Bihar, to Delhi, the country's capital. Its highlights will be high speed and modern amenities.
2. Bapudham Motihari – Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Express
Operational Date: Twice a week from July 29, 2025

Route: Motihari to Anand Vihar Terminal (Delhi)
Special Feature: An important train connecting the Seemanchal and North Bihar regions to Delhi. Previously, there was no direct and regular train on this route.
3. Malda – Gomti Nagar Amrit Bharat Express

Route: Malda to Gomti Nagar (Lucknow)
Special Feature: Will provide direct connectivity from West Bengal to the capital region of UP.
4. Darbhanga – Gomti Nagar Amrit Bharat Express

Route: Darbhanga to Gomti Nagar (Lucknow)
Special Feature: Direct access from the Mithilanchal region to Lucknow, which will facilitate travel for business and education.

These trains will have General Chair Car and Second Class Seating coaches, featuring modern amenities such as LED lights, bio-toilets, CCTV, mobile charging points, and automatic doors. Also, the passenger fares are very affordable, which will provide considerable relief to the general public.
PM Modi Inaugurated Online
Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off these four trains via video conferencing on Friday. The Railway Minister and several other Union Ministers were also present on this occasion. He said that Amrit Bharat trains are a glimpse into the future of Indian Railways and these trains are a major step towards providing a better experience to the passengers.
