In the beginning of the Mixed Team final, the Chinese pair took the lead, and the Indian team seemed to be trailing. However, Arjun and Elavenil made a remarkable comeback with composure and technique. Elavenil's consistent scores of 9.5 and 10.1 gave the Indian team the advantage and left the Chinese players with no chance.
Ultimately, India recorded a brilliant 17-11 victory and clinched the gold medal. This win once again showcased India's strength in the field of shooting at the international level.
Elavenil's Second Gold
Elavenil Valarivan's performance in this championship has been outstanding. She had previously won a gold medal in the women's 10m Air Rifle event, setting another historic record in her name.
